Meet Ellen
Ellen’s approach to real estate is rooted in her background as an attorney, offering a foundation of rigorous advocacy and meticulous attention to detail. She brings a collaborative, data-driven approach that honors the trust clients place in her during one of life’s most significant transactions. Many of her clients are – or have become – dear friends, and it is a privilege and joy for her to share in these major milestones with them.
Ellen transitioned from legal work to real estate after her eldest daughter was born. Previously, she practiced law, representing public agency clients in a wide range of business and real property transactions, including purchases, sales, land exchanges and leases. Her legal background also includes experience as a litigator specializing in real property-related matters.
Since her move to the East Bay in 2019, Ellen and her family have embraced the unique appeal of this pocket of the Bay Area, from its celebrated schools and community-minded neighbors to the beauty of its local parks and trails. Deeply invested in the long-term vibrancy of the region, Ellen is an active member of the Lamorinda community. She is a fourth-year member of the Children's Health Guild, a nonprofit dedicated to raising funds for pediatric healthcare, as well as the founder and president of Lamorinda Field Hockey, a nonprofit youth sports organization. She also regularly volunteers at her daughters’ elementary school in Orinda.
In her spare time, Ellen enjoys learning to play tennis, skiing in Tahoe with her family, and hiking the Lafayette Reservoir.
